| Sio Meng Lai
A restaurant cook was gunned down in front of his midtown Sacramento home four days after Thanksgiving. A reward is being offered to help find Sio Meng Lai's killer. The Carole Sund/Carrington Memorial Reward Foundation is offering the $5,000 reward in the hopes someone will have information that helps Sacramento police detectives crack the case. The 48-year-old Lai was shot in the 2100 block of 15th Street at 9:35 p.m. November 26. Detectives say the victim had no known enemies and their investigation has yielded few leads. A spokesman for the family, James Kuang, said the family is appreciative of the help and reward and hopes they might help lead to an arrest. He said the victim was a hard-working man who provided the family's sole income. "The wife told me they used to wait up for him from work, before he comes home, before they go to sleep and the kids are sad about it.
The beauty behind Botox
Today, it is one of the most popular cosmetic treatments on the market. More than 55,000 injections were given in the UK last year - and many people had them without checking whether the person giving it was qualified or if the product was licensed. As well as Botox, the only other brand that is licensed for cosmetic use is Vistabel; by law, both should be prescribed only by doctors, dentists and nurses. Driscoll says that you should have the injection only in establishments equipped to deal with anaphylactic shock, a rare but extremely dangerous reaction to the drug. In 2005, a government working group recommended that Botox should also be regulated by the Healthcare Commission, but it has chosen to let the industry govern itself and will review the situation in 2010. The average cost of a Botox jab is about £150, and its visible effects should last for about four months.
Getting Ready For The Dealing Season
So with that being said, the only way it seems Cassell will come to the Celtics is if he is bought out by the Clippers. Therein lies the problem. Cassell didn't make big money early in his career, so it would be hard to walk away from a contract paying $6,150,000. Also keep in mind, as cheap as the Clippers are, they would try to squeeze as much money as possible out of Cassell especially now that he's their starting point guard looking at an opportunity to make a break for utopia. A source told the Boston Globe that the Clippers would be interested in a buyout if Cassell would give up major money. So basically it comes to this: what's more important to Cassell, playing for a potential championship or getting paid? The answer to that question will likely determine whether he will be reunited with Garnett.
